I enjoyed lots of butterflies and watching the many, many moths fluttering around that big tree. Of course they don't cooperate that well for my camera.
We also enjoyed cardinals and blue jays, two of my favorites. Not a fave, but ran over a rat snake on the park road. We've never seen a spider like this one. It had a fake look to it, except that is was moving, very black and shiny, and it had pincers that were just about as long as it's legs.
It was hot and muggy most of the time, which of course we expected, so the a/c on the new trailer got used a lot. And with the new trailer came some extra amenities, which of course comes with extra responsibilities.......
Fun post. I'm glad you all had fun on your camping trip and didn't get eatten by spiders or snakes.
ReplyDeleteI love your new trailer! I love wild flowers, too. Our grass looks like yours, dry. We're almost 5 inches below normal for rain. Also, I got your last comment, however, I accidentally deleted it, when trying to approve it on my phone. The print is so little. I am so sorry! I didn't want you to wonder about it. I learned my lesson and won't approve comments on the phone again!
